Women’s Support Worker

Portree, Isle of Skye

This position will be Outreach and Refuge based

Part Time – 2 days per Week

(May include evening and week-end work)

£21,355 per annum pro rata

The post holder will be responsible for providing practical and emotional support to women with experience of domestic abuse on a refuge and outreach basis

Applicants must have a Feminist understanding of domestic abuse and knowledge of the causes and impact this has on women. The successful applicant will have experience of providing one-to-one support from a person centred approach and of assessing need and developing support plans.
