Ross-shire Women’s Aid held an event in the Scottish Parliament sponsored by Rhoda Grant onon Wednesday 7th December.
Our Travelling Stories project has enabled survivors of domestic abuse to use the transformation of a suitcase or creation of a passport as a means for expressing their own journey through life, including their unique experience of survival. The exhibition Travelling Stories are visual statements that reflect who we are, where we have been and where we are going. The event will gave parliamentarians an opportunity to see the work of the women involved and to hear from them about their experiences.
