 White Ribbon Scotland Speaker Training

FREE White Ribbon Speaker Training will be held in inverness on:

Thursday 14th May, 10.00am – 4.30pm at the Centre for Health Science.

White Ribbon Scotland is a campaign which involves men in tackling violence against women.  The organisation’s Speaker Training is an interactive training day which provides participants with the knowledge, skills and resources to speak out against violence against women.

Using a mixture of presentation, workshops, group discussions and media clips the training day includes:

  • introductory sessions on understanding violence against women
  • key facts and figures
  • introduction to bystander theory
  • public speaking support.

The training provides an opportunity for participants to become speakers within their organisation or community and become an active member of the White Ribbon Scotland Network.

This training is for men only of all ages, from all workplaces, communities and backgrounds.  No previous knowledge or training on the subject is required.
